La toma de decisiones frente a este peligro geológico implica la gestión de datos geográficos. Para ello se requieren bases de datos (BBDD) fáciles de usar y/o actualizar para el análisis frente a eventos de RM. En el Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería de Chile se utilizan BBDD que, han sido desarrolladas con distintos objetivos y profesionales, por lo tanto, las mismas no cuentan con una estructura estandarizada y normalizada. Esto dificulta la comprensión y actualización de los distintos campos definidos por los creadores y por consiguiente se crea una nueva BBDD a petición de cada nuevo usuario. Con el objetivo de dar respuesta a esta problemática, este trabajo propone la normalización de una BBDD temática de RM, tomando como referencia elementos de la Norma ISO 19115-1: 2014 y el contexto de aplicación en la región de Aysén. Se definieron listas de dominio para determinados campos y se confeccionó un Diccionario de Datos, recursos que permiten entender e identificar claramente el propósito, alcance y significado de cada campo de la BBDD. La propuesta de BBDD de RM se evaluó y validó a través de una prueba de usabilidad basada en tareas que sea aplicó a diez usuarios con un perfil específico (geólogo, con experiencia en SIG y actualización de BBDD), obteniéndose resultados de las medidas de eficacia y eficiencia. La BBDD se puede utilizar y/o actualizar sin dificultad (eficacia), utilizando los recursos que complementan la misma (eficiencia). La medida de satisfacción se obtuvo a partir de la adaptación y aplicación del cuestionario SUS (System Usability Scale) y las puntuaciones indican una valoración de bueno a excelente (&gt;82).]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Landslides (LS) are a type of geological hazard that frequently affect the population and connectivity in urban and rural areas. Decision-making in the face of this geological hazard involves the management of geographic data. This requires databases (DB) that are easy to use and/or actua-lize for the analysis of LS events. The National Geology and Mining Service of Chile uses databases that have been developed with different objectives and by various professionals; therefore, they do not have a standardized and normalized structure. This complicates the understanding and updating of the different fields defined by the creators, resulting in a new database being created at the request of each new user. To address this issue, this study proposes the normalization of a thematic LS database, drawing on elements from the ISO 19115-1:2014 standard and the application context in the Aysén region. Domain lists were defined for certain fields, and a Data Dictionary was compiled, resources that allow for a clear understanding and identification of the purpose, scope, and meaning of each field in the database. The proposed LS database was evaluated and validated through a usability test based on tasks applied to ten users with a specific profile (geologists, experienced in GIS, and database updating), yielding results regarding effectiveness and efficiency measures. The database can be used and/or updated without difficulty (effectiveness), using complementary resources (efficiency). Satisfaction was measured through adaptation and application of the SUS (System Usability Scale) questionnaire, and scores indicate a rating from good to excellent (&gt;82)]]></p></abstract>
