El tratamiento endoscópico con Argón Plasma Coagulación (APC) tiene eficacia de 80-100%, sin embargo, la refractariedad a 1-2 años es de 40-60%. El argón plasma híbrido (Hybrid-APC) en GAVE ha presentado eficacia mayor a 90%, con menor número de eventos adversos.  Objetivo: Evaluar la eficacia y seguridad de Hybrid-APC en pacientes con GAVE refractarios a APC.  Material y métodos: Estudio retrospectivo en Hospital de especialidades CMN siglo XXI, entre enero 2018-enero 2020, Se incluyeron pacientes mayores de 18 años con GAVE refractario (más de 3 sesiones previas de APC), y se sometieron a Hybrid-APC, se excluyeron pacientes no refractarios, y que no aceptaron procedimiento. Se utilizó t de Student, Chi2 para evaluar diferencia entre grupos. Se consideró significativo p &#8804;0.05.  Resultados: un total de 12 pacientes. El patrón endoscópico más frecuente fue lineal (66.7%), la presentación más frecuente fue síndrome anémico y melena (66.7%). El seguimiento fue de 12 meses (±18). El éxito clínico y técnico se alcanzó en 75% de pacientes de acuerdo a criterios de disminución del grado de afección endoscópica y el aumento de hemoglobina sin terapia transfusional posterior a la sesión de Hybrid-APC. Se reportó dolor abdominal (33.3%) como evento adverso más frecuente, sin presentar eventos adversos mayores durante el estudio.  Conclusiones: La terapia endoscópica con Hybrid-APC es segura y eficaz en pacientes con GAVE refractario a terapia endoscópica con APC convencional.]]></p></abstract>
