Three strains of Trichoderma (T. asperellum, T. harzianum and T. longibrachiatum), three strains of Streptomyces [Streptomyces sp. (A7), S. tubercidicus (A19), and S. viridochromogenes (A27)] and seven commercial fungicides Maxtrobyn® (azoxystrobin SC), ExCitrus® (Citric extract + quercetin), Canelys® (Cinnamomum zeylanicum extract), Hidrocu® PH (Copper hydroxide), Pull75WG® (cuprous oxide), Score® 250 EC (Difenoconazole) and Switch® 62.5 WG (cyprodinil + fludioxonil) were used. The fungicides doses were: D1 (half of the recommended dose), D2 (recommended dose), and D3 (recommended dose plus half of it), according to the doses recommended by the manufacturer. The six antagonists showed more than 80 % of radial growth inhibition, the genus Streptomyces was the most efficient inhibiting up to a 90 % the growth of C. theobromicola. Strain A27 completely inhibited the fungi (100 %), followed by strains A19 (96.18 %) and A7 (90.4 %). SCORE® 250 EC, Canelys® and Hidrocu® PH fungicides showed a 100 % in vitro inhibition of C. theobromicola with the three doses analyzed. The results of this study demonstrate the potential of Streptomyces spp. strains and commercial fungicides for the control of C. theobromicola, which can be further used in the integrated management for controlling anthracnose in soursop.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El objetivo del presente estudio consistió en evaluar el antagonismo in vitro de seis cepas de microorganismos sobre Colletotrichum theobromicola Delacr, causante de antracnosis en inflorescencias de Annona muricata L. en Nayarit, México. Se usaron tres cepas de Trichoderma (T. asperellum, T. harzianum y T. longibrachiatum), tres de Streptomyces [Streptomyces sp. (A7); S. tubercidicus (A19), y S. viridochromogenes (A27)] y siete fungicidas comerciales Maxtrobyn® (azoxistrobin SC), ExCitrus® (Extracto cítrico + quercetina), Canelys® (Extracto de Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Hidrocu® PH (Hidróxido de cobre), Pull75WG® (óxido cuproso), Score® 250 EC (Difenoconazol) y Switch® 62.5 WG (cyprodinil + fludioxonil). Las dosis evaluadas de los fungicidas fueron: D1 (mitad de la dosis recomendada), D2 (dosis recomendada), y D3 (dosis recomendada más la mitad de ésta), partiendo de las dosis recomendadas por el fabricante. Los seis antagonistas mostraron un alto porcentaje de inhibición de crecimiento radial, superior a 80 %, destacando el género Streptomyces al inhibir hasta en un 90 % el crecimiento de C. theobromicola. La cepa A27 lo inhibió por completo (100 %), seguido por las cepas A19 (96.18 %) y A7 (90.4 %). Los fungicidas SCORE® 250 EC, Canelys® e Hidrocu® PH mostraron un 100 % de inhibición in vitro de C. theobromicola con las tres dosis probadas. Los resultados de este estudio demuestran el potencial de cepas de Streptomyces spp. y de fungicidas comerciales para el control de C. theobromicola, los cuales son candidatos para ser usados en el manejo integrado de antracnosis en guanábana.]]></p></abstract>
