Estos objetos podrían explicar las observaciones astrofísicas de emisiones peculiares de cierta clase de pulsares, como los Pulsares Anómalos de Rayos X o los Repetidores de Rayos Gamma Suaves. En este artículo, se presentan las dos principales hipótesis para explicar la intensidad del campo magnético en las Magnetares y se discute la posibilidad de que dichos objetos puedan ser estrellas de quarks (EQ). Se muestra también una solución analítica para la relación masa-radio de una EQ sometida a un campo magnético intenso, a partir del principio variacional de la energía en la Relatividad General.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[In the Universe there are stable stars with strong magnetic fields, larger than 10(13) Gauss at the surface, which are called Magnetars. These objects could explain the astrophysical observations from peculiar emissions of some kind of pulsars like the Anomalous X-ray pulsars or Soft Gamma Repeaters. In this article, two principal hypothesis to explain the magnetic field intensity in Magnetars are presented. Further, the possibility that such objects could be quark stars is discussed (QSs). Also, an analytical solution for the mass-radius relationship of QSs under strong magnetic field is presented from the energy variational principle in General Relativity.]]></p></abstract>

Estos objetos podr&iacute;an explicar las observaciones astrof&iacute;sicas de emisiones peculiares de cierta clase de pulsares, como los Pulsares An&oacute;malos de Rayos X o los Repetidores de Rayos Gamma Suaves. En este art&iacute;culo, se presentan las dos principales hip&oacute;tesis para explicar la intensidad del campo magn&eacute;tico en las Magnetares y se discute la posibilidad de que dichos objetos puedan ser estrellas de quarks (EQ).
