Se propone el abordaje del contenido formativo relacionado con los conceptos mencionados desde el punto de vista de la formación de conceptos científicos en Física, lo cual consideramos, le permitirá al aprendiz de física y áreas afines, por un lado, familiarizarse con aspectos básicos en la formación de conceptos científicos, y por el otro, profundizar en los aspectos cinemáticos del movimiento.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The concepts velocity and speed in diverse physics text books and articles related with the concepts mentioned are revised. Lacks in the formative content associated with the above mentioned concepts are found. One proposes the boarding of the formative content related to the concepts mentioned from the point of view of the formation of scientific concepts in physics, which we consider, will allow the Physics apprentice and related areas, on the one hand, to familiarize with basic aspects in the formation of scientific concepts, and for other one, to penetrate into the cinematic aspects of the motion.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Resumen</b></font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Se hace una revisi&oacute;n sobre los conceptos de velocidad y rapidez presentados en diversos libros de texto de f&iacute;sica y art&iacute;culos relacionados con los conceptos en cuesti&oacute;n encontr&aacute;ndose deficiencias en el contenido formativo asociado con dichos conceptos. Se propone el abordaje del contenido formativo relacionado con los conceptos mencionados desde el punto de vista de la formaci&oacute;n de conceptos cient&iacute;ficos en F&iacute;sica, lo cual consideramos, le permitir&aacute; al aprendiz de f&iacute;sica y &aacute;reas afines, por un lado, familiarizarse con aspectos b&aacute;sicos en la formaci&oacute;n de conceptos cient&iacute;ficos, y por el otro, profundizar en los aspectos cinem&aacute;ticos del movimiento.</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Descriptores:</b> Mec&aacute;nica cl&aacute;sica; cinem&aacute;tica; velocidad y rapidez.</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Abstract</b></font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">The concepts velocity and speed in diverse physics text books and articles related with the concepts mentioned are revised.
