Todo esto se investiga a través de la Teoría del Funcional de la Densidad (o DFT). Se usa el criterio de obtener frecuencias de vibración positivas como parámetro de estabilidad estructural. Además se obtienen sus parámetros de reactividad química, densidad de estados molecular y espectro infrarrojo (IR). La estructura metaestable según los resultados es la C2v con carga cationica y comportamiento de semiconductor.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[We investigated the electronic properties of metallocene containing Ag in the eclipsed (symmetry D5h), sttagged (symmetry D5d) and C2v hh configurations. All this is being investigated by the Density Functional Theory (or DFT). There is used the criterion for obtaining positive frequencies of vibration as parameter of structural stability. In addition there are obtained the parameters of chemical reactivity, molecular density of states (DOS) and infrared theoretical spectrum (IR). The metastable structure according to the results is the C2v with charge cationic and behavior of semiconductor.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Resumen</b></font></p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Se investigan las propiedades electr&oacute;nicas del plataloceno &#91;Ag(C<sub>5</sub>H<sub>5</sub>)<sub>2</sub>&#93; en la configuraci&oacute;n lineal: eclipsada (simetr&iacute;a D<sub>5h</sub>) y alternada (simetr&iacute;a D<sub>5d</sub>) y la no lineal C<sub>2v</sub>hh. Todo esto se investiga a trav&eacute;s de la Teor&iacute;a del Funcional de la Densidad (o DFT). Se usa el criterio de obtener frecuencias de vibraci&oacute;n positivas como par&aacute;metro de estabilidad estructural. Adem&aacute;s se obtienen sus par&aacute;metros de reactividad qu&iacute;mica, densidad de estados molecular y espectro infrarrojo (IR).
