Para la reducción catalítica se optimizaron los parámetros de la catálisis como la concentración del reductor, diferentes pH, tipo del catalizador y por último se analizó la reducción en diferentes tipos de agua. El proceso se monitoreó mediante espectroscopía, la cual permitió determinar la concentración del 4-NF y su reducción con el paso del tiempo. El análisis está basado en cambios observados en la banda característica del 4-NF, respecto al 4-aminofenol como confirmación de la reducción del contaminante.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The present work shows the formation of silver (Ag) nanoparticles and a bimetalic system (AgAu) by green synthesis using Byrsonima crassifolia (nance) seed powder, for its application as a catalyst in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP). For the catalytic reduction, the parameters that were optimized were the concentration of the reductant (NaBH4), pH of the solution, type of catalyst and the type of water/medium for reduction. The process was observed through spectroscopy which monitors the concentration of 4-NP with time. The analysis is based on the changes observed in the characteristic band of 4-NP with respect to the 4-aminophenol as a confirmation of the reduction of the contaminant.]]></p></abstract>
