El principal binomio de esta conspiración, catolicismo y jesuitas, no era nuevo, pues, data desde el mismo origen de La Compañía en el siglo XVI. Sin embargo, en un mundo europeo extenso en el que se han resentido las diversas crisis de las monarquías tradicionales habidas desde la Revolución francesa, el fantasma de los jesuitas como el Anticristo vuelve a surgir en el medio de un debate político en el que se pretende reforzar el carácter tradicional de la ortodoxia rusa. En este texto se ofrecen los parámetros para comprender los aspectos fundamentales de la construcción de la idea de la conspiración, no muy alejada en su estructura a otro tipo de teorías conspirativas, en la que intervienen intelectuales de la talla de Dostoyevski.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Tsarist Russia of the 19th century witnessed the virulent emergence of a conspiracy theory believed to threaten the authentic -clearly Christian 346 Orthodox- soul of Russia. The principal binomial of that conspiracy -Catholicism / Jesuits- was nothing new, as it began with the very origins of the Company of Jesus in the 16th century. However, in a broad European world affected by the diverse crises of the traditional monarchies that existed from the time of the French Revolution, the phantasm of the Jesuits as Anti-Christ emerged once again amidst a political debate that sought to strengthen the traditional character of Russian Orthodoxy. The text presents the parameters for an understanding of the fundamental elements in the construction of the idea of a conspiracy that, in structural terms, hardly deviates from another type of conspiracy theory, one that included the participation of intellectuals of the stature of Dostoyevsky.]]></p></abstract>

O principal binômio desta conspiração, catolicismo e jesuítas, não era novo, pois data desde a origem da Companhia no século XVI. Porém, em um mundo europeu estendido no qual se terem ressentido as diversas crises das monarquias tradicionais havidas a começar da Revolução Francesa, o fantasma dos jesuítas como o Anticristo torna-se a surgir no meio de um debate político no que se pretende reforçar o carácter tradicional da ortodoxia russa. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé: La Russie tzariste du XIXe siècle vit émerger avec virulence une théorie de la conspiration contre l'âme authentiquement russe, forcément chrétienne orthodoxe. Le binôme principal de cette conspiration, catholicisme et jésuites, n'était pas nouveau : on peut le dater depuis les origines de la Compagnie au XVIe siècle. Néanmoins, dans un monde européen élargi, dans lequel on a ressenti les diverses crises des monarchies traditionnelles au lendemain de la Révolution française, le fantôme des jésuites incarnant l'Antéchrist surgit à nouveau au milieu d'un débat politique dans lequel on prétend renforcer le caractère traditionnel de l'orthodoxie russe. Dans ce texte sont offerts les paramètres qui permettent de comprendre les aspects fondamentaux de la construction de l'idée de la conspiration, pas très éloignée dans sa structure d'un autre type de théories conspiratives, dans lequel interviennent des intellectuels de la taille de Dostoïevski.]]></p></abstract>
