La des-fusión dramática, concepto introducido por Jeffrey Alexander, nos ayudará a medir los alcances de una sensibilidad que, al entregarse al juego estético, incide en procesos de transformación cultural. Argumentamos cómo el camp, como un fenómeno que contribuye a las des-fusiones dramáticas, posee un gran poder de agencia al instaurar tensiones dicotómicas y desestabilizar los significados atribuidos a las formas, las cuales, una vez que su poder performativo ha sido debilitado, quedan abiertas a la resignificación. Por último, reflexionamos sobre la des-fusión dramática generalizada que se vive en la posmodernidad, un periodo de desencantamiento en el que las formas quedan vaciadas de sentido e impera una incertidumbre generalizada, la cual puede motivar la adopción de una actitud cínica y resignada, o aprovecharse para liberarnos de las concepciones más perniciosas del Zeitgeist moderno y generar nuevas y más satisfactorias perspectivas para el futuro o periodo histórico posterior a la posmodernidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper reflects on the expressions of camp sensibility as detonators of dramatic de-fusions. The dramatic de-fusion, a concept introduced by Jeffrey Alexander, will help us dimension the scope of a sensibility that, giving into aesthetic enjoyment, plays part in processes of cultural transformation. We argue how camp, as a phenomenon that contributes to dramatic de-fusions, holds a great power of agency by establishing dichotomous tensions and destabilizing the meanings attributed to forms, which, once their performative power has been weakened, can be resignified. Finally, we reflect on the generalized dramatic de-fusion that is experienced in postmodernity, a period of disenchantment in which forms become meaningless and a generalized uncertainty prevails, which can motivate the adoption of a cynical and resigned attitude, or be used to free us from the most pernicious conceptions of the modern Zeitgeist and generate new and more satisfactory perspectives for the future or historical period after postmodernity.]]></p></abstract>
