Injerto subepitelial de tejido conjuntivo usando la técnica de Langer y Langer para el tratamiento de recesiones gingivales. Reporte de un caso clínico (Reporte a 1 año)

Una de las metas de la cirugía mucogingival es lograr cobertura radicular en dientes donde se presentan recesiones gingivales, las cuales pueden llegar a causar problemas de sensibilidad radicular y comprometer la estética dental. Para obtener cobertura radicular se han propuesto varias alternativas quirúrgicas que promueven la preservación del tejido residual y la irrigación sanguínea alrededor del defecto. En el artículo se presenta un caso clínico (reporte a un año) utilizando la técnica de injerto subepitelial de tejido conjuntivo para el tratamiento de dos recesiones gingivales clase II de Miller.

One of the short term goals of mucogingival surgery is to accomplish complete root coverage in teeth with gingival recession, in order to reduce root sensibility and improve dental esthetics. Multiple surgical alternatives have been proposed to preserve the residual tissue and blood supply around the defect. The purpose of this article was to present a clinical case (report to one year) using the surgical technique of subepithelial graft of connective tissue and coronal graft for the treatment of two gingival recessions Miller class II.
