La σύγκρισις en Basilio de Cesarea1
Palabras clave: Basilio de Cesarea; comparación; homilética; προγυμνάσματα; retórica; σύγκρισις
Σύγκρισις or comparison is one of the so-called progumnãsmata or preliminary rhetorical exercises. Sometimes it can be found as a self-standing composition, although it can also be linked to other προγυμνάσματα or used as an argumentative heading. In some of his homilies Basil of Caesarea presents several examples of σύγκρισις and of its different ways of composition, which usually follow the themes and laws of composition of the ancient school repertories.
Keywords: Basilio de Cesarea; comparación; homilética; προγυμνάσματα; retórica; σύγκρισις
