Abstract

The 19F(α,p1γ) reaction was investigated in the energy range E α= 1.15 – 2.00 MeV. Eight resonances were found in the gamma excitation curve, five of which were not observed before. Energy and strength of the resonances were obtained and compared well to values available elsewhere (Kuperus, J., Physica 31, (1965) 1603).

Keywords: Asymptotic Giant Branch; Nuclear Astrphysics; Fluorine.
