Gravis Myasthenia (MG) is an alteration of the acquired and autoimmune neuromuscular plate; whose incidence is estimated at 85/100,000, which is characterized by muscle weakness, whether in a group of muscles or generalized (1). The use of relaxing neuromuscular and opioids, plays an important role in the restoration of spontaneous ventilation of these patients, and in the prevention of postoperative ventilatory support. The use of regional techniques in patients requiring to undergo surgical procedures, reduces the use of medications, complications and the need for ventilatory support. We report the case of a female patient for hemitiroidectomia, she received a block cervical plus general anesthesia, without the use of relaxing muscles, minimizing the use of opioids.

Palavras-chave : myasthenia gravis; a neuromuscular autoimmune disease hemitiroidectomia; cervical block; relaxing muscles; Pyridostigmine.
