Resumen

BUENROSTRO-VASQUEZ, Carlos; BUCK-SOLTERO, JA; MORALES-VALLE, LA  y  GRANADOS-TINAJERO, SO. Anestesia en liposucción de grandes volúmenes. Anest. Méx. [online]. 2017, vol.29, suppl.1, pp.64-76. ISSN 2448-8771.

Tumescent liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure that consists of an assisted lipoplasty suction that removes unwanted fat deposited beneath the skin. The not desired sucked fat includes lidocaine and the epinephrine, fat, etc, of which only 30% is aspirated, the 70% remaining is reabsorbed by the body. The greater the volume that is aspired, inevitably you will have to infiltrate more tumescent solution, since this volume of infiltration increases, and the risk of complications is increased too. In our environment, the most used local anesthetic for filtration is lidocaine, adrenaline is the vasoconstrictor used to reduce blood circulation in the tissues, which helps slow the absorption of local anesthetics. Abdominoplasty in large volumes is the procedure of plastic surgery of highest incidence of death, secondary to venous thromboembolism. The anesthetic technique chosen for large volume liposuction is a general anesthesia balanced with tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation that allows you to efficiently control the respiratory function.
