Abstract

This paper explores the case of Eos and Pan, two literary magazines of Jalisco, appeared between the years of 1943 and 1946, down the impulse of Juan José Arreola, Antonio Alatorre, Arturo Rivas Sainz, Juan Rulfo y Adalberto Navarro Sánchez. Through of the analysis of the links that wove these writers with several social actors of the local and national environment, and their strategies to impulse the publications, this work show lights about the mechanisms and channels across which this men of letters tried to get renown and prestige in the local and national literary environment of the epoch.
