PEREZ AGUIRRE, Dulze María. The murals of the Marion sisters and Grace Greenwood in Mercado Abelardo L. Rodríguez in Mexico City (1935). Let. hist. [online]. 2018, n.18, pp.227-257. ISSN 2448-8372.  https://doi.org/10.31836/lh.18.6328.

In the present work, the murals painted by the sisters Marion and Grace Greenwood during 1935 at the Abelardo L. Rodríguez Market, located in Mexico City, were analyzed in order to illustrate their vision of the Mexican working class. Similarly, the social inequality as well as the contributions these works provided to Mexican muralism, among other aspects, are highlighted. These Greenwoods’ paintings were the last they created in Mexico and are part of the cultural heritage for the capital of this country.
