ANDRES, Marina et al. The role of representations on the GeoGebra screen in classroom math work. Collaborative research on function teaching in Secondary School. Educ. mat. [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.3, pp.7-38. Epub 30-Mayo-2022. ISSN 2448-8089. https://doi.org/10.24844/em3303.01.
This article discusses phenomena related to the mathematical production of students when solving function problems on their computers. The selected scope consists of a collaborative investigation between secondary school teachers and teacher-researchers of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. In the course of the research, a sequence of activities was designed to introduce the concept of function, based on a dynamic geometric situation presented in a GeoGebra file. The phenomena studied in this article refer to events that took place in the classrooms where it was implemented. Each event refers to students interacting with each other and with the computer screen on which they are working. In our analysis we will describe the feedback among the content of the discussion held by the students, the new actions they perform on the computer and the changes that occur in the screen representations based on them.
