MOYA, Paula Tamyris; FIGUEIREDO LACANALLO ARRAIS, Luciana; SANTOS, Edilson de Araújo dos  y  PEREIRA GONZAGA DE MORAES, Silvia. The teaching organization of the time grandeur in early schooling years. Educ. mat. [online]. 2019, vol.31, n.3, pp.151-176.  Epub 15-Jun-2020. ISSN 2448-8089.  https://doi.org/10.24844/em3103.06.

The need to control time accompanies humanity since the beginning of its civilization. Nowadays, we own the most sophisticated and precise time controlling instruments, and our children live with them since their birth. In schooling, that makes it necessary to develop teaching methods so that the concepts intrinsical to these instruments are properly acquired by the students. This text aims to reflect on the organization of teaching mathematical concepts in the early schooling years, specially the grandeur called time. And, based on this study, propose didactic referrals to the teacher’s work with these concepts, assuming as presuppositions the Historical Cultural Theory and the Teaching Orienteering Activity. We’ve taken the challenge to articulate these theoretical references with the pedagogical practice, with the objective to give teachers tools to elaborate teaching activities. We hope that this work will collaborate with the teaching organization so that it makes it possible that students are capable of learning conceps and develop theoretical thinking.
