NEME-CASTILLO, Omar; GARCIA-MEZA, Mario Alberto y VALDERRAMA-SANTIBANEZ, Ana Lilia. Innovation Skill in MYPES collaborators. Investig. adm. [online]. 2021, vol.50, n.127, 12708. Epub 02-Mar-2021. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav50n127.08.
The aim of the paper is to quantify the innovation skills of the collaborators in the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) of Mexico City through the General Index of Individual Innovation Skills (IGHII) and compare it with their innovative performance. The quantitative method includes exploratory, confirmatory, variance and correlation analysis. The results indicate that the IGHII is higher for microenterprises, which also accumulate more innovations. One finding is that greater individual skills generate better innovative performances given the size of the business. An aspect poorly addressed in the literature is the measurement of the innovation skills of employees and their effect on innovation, this document is original in this regard. The main limitation is the temporality, since it contains information for a single year.
