The purpose of the current research is to develop presents a proposal of a training program for the support and education assistance personnel (PAAE) from the Research and Technological Innovation Center (CIITEC-IPN), with the intention that this contributes to perform in an optimal way the activities and functions that every worker develops in order to accomplish the objectives of the Center.

In this research was used the inductive as well as the deductive methods were used for analyzing the study of case; with the comparative method were analyzed the training programs that contributed to solve problems of performance effectiveness of the PAAE from CIITEC. In the same way, field and gabinet techniques were used for performing and concluding this study.

An important result of this investigation proves that the lack of budget is the main obstacle in personnel training, as well as the inappropriate detection of training necessities and the shortage of options that contribute to consider the training as a imperative requirement.

Among the recommendations, it is set out to consider the elaboration in CIITEC of an internal positions manual, to carry out separately the training of PAAE and teaching personnel.
