The Center for Research and Technological Development in Electrochemistry, S.C., was founded in September 1991. Its creation reflects the need to link industry with academia and research. It has an office located in Sanfandila, Pedro Escobedo, just 30 km. of the city of Queretaro, one branch in Tijuana, B.C., in the Technology Consortium of Baja California and an office in the conurbation linking Corregidora, Qro. It is part of the Technology Transfer Agency-SinerTec created to integrate scientific and technological capabilities and to operate in an optimal and efficient processes participating entities manner.

Our researchers, who are part of the SNI, dedicate their research to the development and innovation related to nanotechnology, which allows us to respond to society on issues ranging from health, environmental care, coatings and solar cells.

CIDETEQ offers graduate programs in Electrochemistry, Science and Technology and Environmental Engineering since 2003. We have a large body of peer-reviewed publications, patent applications and patents.
