CIATEC is a research and development center that belongs to CONACYT. In 2016 CIATEC accomplishes 40 years of advisoring industry at a variety of subjects, especially in the number of companies that have been attended. Now CIATEC has research on nanotechnology, specifically nanomaterials applied to plastic formulations with flame retardant properties, and nanocomposites with antifungi and antibacterial properties. This document shows a brief description of both research subjects, and a general description of CIATEC.
