In this work, the importance of nanotechnology for the materials development, applied to the clean energy obtaining is briefly discussed. The nanomaterials application is of a wide spectrum; from electric energy production trough solar cell or fuel cells to the ultra-low sulfur diesel and gasoline from fossil source (petroleum). As well as the synthetic production of diesel and gasoline.
