Nanotechnology evolution in Cuba is an authentic aspiration of our scientific potential in diverse research fields. Even that it is true that in underdevelopment conditions, some national research centers have achieved decent levels of participation within the international community in relation to theoretical knowledge, we still are faraway from the circle that set the rhythm of research on systems of very small dimensions. In this article we analyze some general particularities of the scientific creation of such a circle as a first step for a more deep and detailed debate. We understand that only in that direction, the one of the construction of a first class scientific heritage, it will be possible to have hope on a solid economic and societal development.
