The purpose of this research is to lead the reader through two important issues in the urban area, on the one hand, the characteristics and advantages of the urbanization of the metropolitan area of Guadalajara under the modality of mixed use of land and vertical buildings will be exposed; and on the other we will talk about the legal implications that this modality entails; since the land that previously affected a single individual, now affects hundreds of individuals who buy apartments on high aerial levels and founded on common land; which leads us to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this type of construction.
