Public security in Mexico is a task that by constitutional provision is entrusted to civil authorities, restricting any other possibility, regardless of the circumstances that exist. Despite the foregoing, the President issued an agreement through which he intends to involve the armed forces in public security tasks, a measure that is certainly clearly unconstitutional, a circumstance that will soon be in the sphere of knowledge of the Supreme Court of Justice. To arrive at this statement, the inductive method will be used, under a qualitative research approach.
