Abstract: This work is elaborated on the basis of personal reflection and the analysis of legal literature and jurisprudence, from a critical position on the issue of non-patrimonial relations between spouses, trying to determine the importance in the different legislations son different as those referred, but with a common Roman base, even in the case of Lithuania, included among those countries that belong to the civil law family system, taking into account, that the professors that take part in this work belong (among others) to a wide international group of investigation that are from European, Latin American or Asiatic countries (gidepa). From the concepts of marriage and family, it is made an interpretation of their of those cited personal relations, and are analyzed, by the authors, the different regulations and legal effects of such non-patrimonial relations between spouses in Colombia, Spain, and Lithuania with mention of the importance of the issue in different countries of the European Union. The work concludes offering the position of the authors.
