Abstract: The proposal aims to create a pu blic advocate who will be in charge of the human rights that indigenous communities hold. Therefore, within the “Procuraduría Social del Estado de Jalisco” it will arise a specialized defender. Its main goal is to con duct or exercise legal strategies in order to protect and restore the rights of that vulne rable group.
