Acute pancreatitis is one of the most frequent causes of hospitalization worldwide. Currently, endoscopy has taken on a greater role every day in the diagnosis and management of this disease, as well as its complications. This review concisely analyzes the role of endoscopy in the comprehensive management of these patients.
