CARRANZA-AGUILERA, Cynthia L. y RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ, Gisela. Metastatic activity at the gastric level of a dark and incidental malign melanoma. Gastric finding. Endoscopia [online]. 2020, vol.32, n.4, pp.138-140. Epub 11-Oct-2021. ISSN 2444-6483. https://doi.org/10.24875/end.20000060.
Malignant melanoma mainly affects the skin, it is one of the most aggressive cancers and its metastatic activity generally involves lymph nodes, skin, lungs, liver, brain, bone, and gastrointestinal tract, with the small intestine being the most common presentation. With a low incidence of 2 to 5% in living people, it is reported more frequently post mortem. We present the case of a 67-year-old man diagnosed with gastric malignant melanoma activity.
