To know the frecuency of pancreatic biliary neoplasms at “General Ignacio Zaragoza” Hospital,Regional ISSSTE.

Materials and methods:

This is a retrospective and observational, performed between January 2018 to May 2019 at General Ignacio Zaragoza Hospital, the database were collected in Microsoft Excel and it was analyzed with measures of central tendency. 51 patients were included with endoscopic data suggesting pancreatic biliary neoplasms, corroborated by pathology.

Results:

We performed 381 ERCP, included in this study 51 patients, women 55% (n=28), men 45%& (n=23), the mean age 67 years, the must common neoplasm was pancreatic adenocarcinoma 66% (n=34), cholangiocarcinoma 31% (n=16), and gallbladder carcinoma 2% (n=2), the must common affected organ was the pancreas, the most common endoscopic therapy was plastic prosthesis 83% (n=42), metallic prosthesis 17% (n=9).

Conclusions:

The pancreatic biliary are a very important challenge because of his silent evolution and at the diagnosis moment they are in advanced stage, ant it causes a high mobility and mortality so because of that reason it ir really important to make an early diagnosis.
