Objective:
To offer an overview of managerial equity and its influence on the social aspect of corporate social responsibility, which has been incorporated in the processes of organizations through the principle of sustainable development.
Methodology:
The systematic review was carried out using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Further, the inclusion criteria for papers were (i) being written in either English or Spanish, (ii) being published in a scholarly peer-reviewed journal, and (iii) focusing on issues related to social sustainability and its relevance in agricultural systems.
Results:
Seven studies fulfill the inclusion criteria and therefore they were analyzed.
Limitations:
The number of articles found in four databases (ScienceDirect, Scopus, Springer and JStore).
Conclusions:
Managerial equity influences corporate social responsibility in agricultural systems by the incorporating the ethical principle of sustainable development.
