This article is a cross-sectional, filmic and literary historiography study that analyzes a set of ethnographic, documentary and experimental pieces produced in the 20th century -some from the Ethnographic Audiovisual Archive- on the Tarahumara people, within the horizon of a common modern significant framework that reveals a literary cultural imaginary that began to be written from the time of the Conquest in the 16th Century.
