This text discusses about the social uses of images. It's divided into four sections. It assumes a central idea: the images don't have own meanings. Their meanings it's given thanks the mediation of social, ideological, political, cultural and other dimensions that outline a ‘way of seeing’. It argues that the images are never alone and establish social relationships with them. We use them for relate us with the reality and between us. We live between images and not only them among us.
