Abstract

University Social Responsibility is a management policy, a management philosophy that aims to renew the university's social commitment and offer solutions to the challenges that higher education faces in a globalized context. The objective of the study is: To determine the social responsibility that the university has in its strategy of linking with the private sector in the post-pandemic recovery in the city of Machala. The research methodology is qualitative, descriptive, transactional and field. The results show that the University cannot avoid social commitment, educate young people to be able to respond to future challenges, challenges that, as with COVID-19, are transcendental.
