In this paper, the results of a study on Organizational Culture OC are presented with the objective of identifying the most influential factors of culture that contribute to the effectiveness of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in Mexico and Nicaragua. For this purpose, four cultural dimensions were evaluated among these, Consistency, Implication, Adaptability and Mission in 18 HEIs in these countries. Also, the quantitative method was used in the framework of a cross-sectional study, with an intentional non-probabilistic sample. Finally, the results made it possible to identify bilateral meanings in all the proposed cultural dimensions, as well as the Mission as the most predominant cultural dimension in both countries.
