Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 major social, economic and environmental goals that 193 countries agreed to achieve to improve living conditions in the world. For their part, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight goals agreed by the 189 countries that were members of the UN in 2000, which propose to transform society. The purpose of the study is to present an account of the world conferences of women, highlighting the influence of the SDGs and the MDGs on gender equality in education, showing that the situations of inequality of women, in relation to men, they remain today.
