One of the factors that influence adherence to treatment are beliefs about physicians., Mexico has little literature on this variable. Therefore, it is necessary to exploratory adapt and evidence of validity about Baeza-Rivera Physicians Belief Scale (2015) in the Mexican population. 528 people from CDMX, Tabasco and Monterrey participated, with an average age of 33.5 years. Participants answered the scale that contains 30 items. An adaptation of the instrument was made and the psychometric properties of the instrument were tested by exploratory factor analysis. The final scale presents two factors, positive beliefs about doctors and negative beliefs about physicians, each with 15 items with factor loads above 0.30. Both factors explain 47.03% of the variance and present good levels of internal consistency.
