PEREZ LLODY, Luis Alberto. Modernity, Progress and Violence: some Keys to a Legal Concept of Revolution. Probl. anu. filos. teor. derecho [online]. 2017, n.11, pp.417-464. ISSN 2448-7937.
Revolutions have created an important phenomenon in modern history. They have had consequences since the end of the eighteen century to the Thirteen American Colonies and France, until the end of the twentieth century. This has been studied from different perspectives; however few have been able to draw in a systematic manner its implications to legal studies.
The objective of this paper is to characterize manifestations attached to revolutions as an important way of political resistance evaluating their justificatory and constitutive documents according to doctrinal and theoretical orders, also evaluating the impact revolutions have for political legal science and their capability to transform historical evolution.
