Abstract

Damage models with different failure norms for modeling structural elements in their evolution to collapse were formulated and implemented. The formulation of the damage models with failure surfaces only tension and only shear were developed based on the isotropic damage model equal tension-compression. These constitutive models were implanted into subroutines programed in Fortran. Numerical examples were presented, showing the validation of the formulated damage models for modeling elements to collapse.
