This article shows the possibility to improve the learning of scientific subjects -chemical bond -in high school by using a didactic sequence based on multiple representations, collaboration and used information and technology techniques (ICT) in environments such as the new science laboratories of the (UNAM) high school. The results show that the patricipating students integrate a diversity of representations and thus explain the model of chemical bonds, properties, structure and composition of the materials from the nanoscopic level as opposed to students who learn the subject in a traditional manner.
