Abstract

NUNEZ ARANCIBIA, Rodrigo Christian. La historia y las acciones humanas en el pensamiento de Robin G. Collingwood. Valenciana [online]. 2014, vol.7, n.13, pp.207-228. ISSN 2007-2538.

The history, as an strategy to understand de past, was considerated since its origins an activity close to the literature and the art. This characterization of history was put aside during the XIX century when its scientific aspects where strengthen so it was differenced from literature, as account of what really happen. An interesting voice in this debate, although no properly listened on his time, was the one of Robin G. Collingwood, that presented a pretty interesting theory of history, in spite of it's difficulties and limitations. Probably, the first objective it's to recognize the emphasis to define the history as interested in the actions of the human being, in such way that the historical past would be limited to what can be remitted directly to human actions.

Keywords : Comprehension; Representation; Lived experience; Self-knowledge of human matters; Human actions.
