This work investigates the importance of the Taller magazine in the development of a mexican intellectual elite. The figure of Octavio Paz has special importance in this context, as well as the interrelation between the literary phenomenon of the time and its historical and social antecedents and determining factors: the nationalism caused by the mexican revolution.
