Abstract

CORONA BARRERA, Diana  and  GONZALEZ MARTINEZ, José Ricardo. Interactions in the educommunicative ecosystem and the COVID-19 pandemic: the case of the Educational Science School of the UATx. Diálogos sobre educ. Temas actuales en investig. educ. [online]. 2021, vol.12, n.22, 00012.  Epub Dec 06, 2021. ISSN 2007-2171.  https://doi.org/10.32870/dse.v0i22.903.

A few months after the start of the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and once the Spring 2020 semester has concluded, it is possible to analyze the interactions generated by a new educational environment in which teachers and students have been forced to coexist, facing a number of changes in their educational and communicative ecosystem, characterized by socio-emotional, logistic, digital, communicative and pedagogical environments. Using a qualitative approach, this study seeks to identify the conditions in which students and teachers experience a non-face-to-face education through a description of the interactions between the environments that make up the so-called educommunicative ecosystem based on the educational communication models proposed by Kaplún, and Freire’s dialogic perspective, in a case study of the Educational Science School of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala.

Keywords : Interactions; educommunicative ecosystem; interlocutions; non-face-to-face higher education; COVID-19.
