Resumen

QUINONES GUTIERREZ, Alejandro et al. Assessment of growth-promoter inoculants in plant production of mesquite (Prosopis laevigata (Humb. et Bonpl. ex Willd.) M. C. Johnst.) in Durango. Rev. mex. de cienc. forestales [online]. 2013, vol.4, n.20, pp.42-80. ISSN 2007-1132.

The effect of mycorrhizae and growth promoting bacteria in mesquite plants (Prosopis laevigata) were analyzed on total height, root length, root weight and germination per cent under greenhouse conditions and during adaptation in the planting site. For the germination test, different techniques were used in ten scarifying substrate mixtures, using randomized blocks with 90 seeds each, these were divided into three groups of 30. To evaluate the effect of inoculation, material was soaked for 24 hours, and three treatments were tested: T1) Azobacter spp. rhizobacterial combination and Azospirillum spp. (Invassore®) at a concentration of 1 x 108 CFU mL-1; T2) mycorrhizal fungi (Glomus intraradices ,Burize®) dissolved in 100 mL of water (1 propagule per cc), and T3), which served as a control, only with distilled water. The highest germination per cent (70 %) was obtained by scarification water at 70 °C. On the total weight, T1 differences (P> 0.05) were consistent with the weight of the root, in which the plants of the same treatment increased 51%. The total height, root length and stem height also agreed, T1 plants had the highest values, with significant differences (P < 0.05). It was determined that application of the mesquite rizobacteriae promoting effects at least in terms of the variables analyzed.
