Abstract

Is exposed A technological model to increase the productive potential of rainfed maize with producers of San Nicolas de los Ranchos Puebla-Mexico. It was calculated the Index of Technology the Ownership Radicals (ITOR) and the Grade Progressive Technologies Employment (GPTE); were pooled to producers based on their performance in designing the technological model and was estimated real food security and potential. It was found that; the managing of corn presents innovations radical and progressive, protruding second. There is no direct relationship between ITOR and yields, but with the GPTE; 29% of producers are efficient. 29% of farmers do not have food security. If producers of low and medium productive potential, may apply the technological model of efficient producers would increase on average 157% and 38% respectively.
