Resumen

CASTRO DOMINGO, Pablo. Indigenous migration processes in the State of Mexico. Nova scientia [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.14, pp.622-643. ISSN 2007-0705.

This article discusses practices that have recreated the indigenous mexiquenses in recent years. It shows how Mazahuas, Otomi, Nahua, Tlahuica and Matlazinca from The State of Mexico are embedded in large-scale migration processes that connect geographical áreas of this entity with locations in other states and even other countries. It is argued that indigenous migrants are creative actors who establish social, cultural, political and working relationships in more than one locality, region or country.

Palabras llave : immigration; indigenous; State of Mexico; economic remittances; social remittances.
