Social capital is an integration factor by which progress can be made in the development of a locality, due to the supportive relationships that interweave among their members. This research articulates an analysis of trust and social networks as sources of social capital that can facilitate or hinder the process of change and development in the Magic Town of Tapijulapa. The findings that we get by factorial analysis -using the technique of principal components-, showed the importance of social capital in the process of building mutually beneficial relationships that serve as support to generate greater benefit among its inhabitants, paying special attention to the participation of individuals and native groups, so that together with external they can consolidate the actions, programs and projects.
