This raises the importance of studying the stress beyond the burnout syndrome; as such syndrome is types of labor are generated specifically in occupations involving interpersonal relationships and service provision. Thus validating the instrument of work stress, which identifies work situations perceived as stressful by 201 physicians practicing 19 specialties in public hospitals in Michoacán, Mexico State and Mexico City. The results reveal four valid factors: 1) Emotional exhaustion, 2) Job dis-satisfaction, 3) Equity between effort and reward, and 4) Rating on environmental requirements. Emphasizes the emotional, suggesting further study of the factors associated with it, and identify the point or level at which causes stress to prevent it.
