This is an original philosophical refection about the relevance of ordinary life as a legitimate frame of reference in the search for the meaning of life, a statement different from the ways of life that suggest that the reaching of a happy life -a fulfilled life- depends on other orders of human existence such as the acquisition of fame, wealth, power and pleasure. This thesis implies the return to simplicity, to the everyday common things, to primary realities in which our own lives passes -whether we accept it or not- are part of the constitutive identity of the human being and not only of the modern identity, as suggested by the infuential Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor.
